I-Beam Micro Adjust Instructions

Use 5 mm Allen key to loosten clamp bolt.

Loosten bolt approx. 5 complete revolutions or until you can see most of the bolt head.

 

Twist saddle from side to side until you hear a "snap" sound.

NOTE: The "snap" sound means taht the clamps have released from the beam and head.

 
 

Tilt saddle UP to make sure saddles moves freely.

 

  Tilt saddle DOWN to make sure saddles moves freely.
 

Once you have found your desired position hold clamps firmly against the saddle with one finger pressing against the back of the nut.

Tighten the 5mm allen bolt to 112 lb/sq in. using a torque wrench.

  Make sure the clamp and the saddle beam fit securely together.
 

This is what you dont want!

Notice the clamp and the I-Beam of the saddle are NOT seated properly.

 

Improper position!

When setting your saddle postion it is not advised to run the saddle at the very end of its range.

  NOT reccomended!
