SDG Limited Warranty
(MX Seat / Bicycle Seat / Bicycle Seat Post)

SDG warrants that new seats and seat posts will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 30 days from the time of original purchase (proof of purchase required), provided the products are used under normal riding conditions and the seat post owner’s manual is followed. SDG shall repair or replace (at SDG’s sole discretion) any parts found by SDG to be defective and subject to this warranty. The consumer is responsible for labor costs associated with warranty repair or replacements.

This warranty covers only the original purchaser, and is not transferable.

This warranty does not cover damages that occur as a result of shipment, storage, accidents, shocks and/or crashes, misuse, use not consistent with the original intent for the product, neglected or poorly maintained products, improper assembly, assembly with non-compatible products, normal wear and tear, or modifications to the original product. This warranty specifically excludes surface finishes and cosmetic treatments including but not limited to surface finishes and decals.

Any implied warranties, including warrants of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall be limited in scope and duration in accordance with this Limited Warranty. SDG shall not be responsible for any direct, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages suffered by any party. The foregoing statements of warranty are exclusive and in lieu of all other remedies. In the event of legal action, the sole proper venue for all claims or disputes under this warranty shall be contested in the courts of the State of California.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, or the limitations or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the limitations and exclusions set forth in this Limited Warranty may not apply to you.

 

General Warranty Procedure:


After reading the terms and conditions, if you feel you have a valid warranty on either a MX Seat, Bicycle Seat or Bicycle Seat Post, please follow the instructions below. All other MX warranties need a specific RMA number prior to sending in to SDG – Please call 714) 258-1224 ext. 260 or fax a completed Warranty Repair Claim Form to 714-258-1319.

  1. Product must be evaluated by SDG’s Warranty Department first, in order to determine it’s eligibility. (PROOF OF PURCHASE REQUIRED – NO EXCEPTIONS)

 

  1. Please enclose a brief note of the problem, with the product, along with original proof of purchase and send to the appropriate department:
